Eamon has been a governor at Minet since June 2018 and Vice-Chair since September 2018.
Eamon joined the civil service and Department for Education in 2016. He is currently a Project Lead in the Regional Schools Commissioner’s office for South-East England and South London, working with school leaders to raise standards by developing academy sponsorship and multi-academy trusts; by opening excellent new provision and by challenging underperformance. Eamon is currently lead for Lambeth and Wandsworth local authority areas.
Eamon was born and raised in West Drayton, attending Oak Wood School (formerly Abbotsfield school) where he was a school governor until February 2018. Being from Hillingdon and working with schools on a day to day basis is why Eamon decided to become a school governor at Minet, he was recruited through Governors for Schools (https://www.governorsforschools.org.uk/).
