Sayers Croft
On Wednesday 10th July, children from year 6 went to Sayers Croft. It took nearly 2 hours to get there because the coach couldn’t fit on some roads. The first activity they took part in was Orienteering, using compasses to get around the forest. After their evening meal they had a camp fire , where they sang songs, including happy birthday to Miss Sweeney and Alim. They also got to watch the football match.
On Thursday some children made rafts, some went wall-climbing and some tried their hand at archery in the morning. In the afternoon the children made shelters and went pond dipping. Before going to bed they all had some birthday cake.
On Friday the children went rock climbing before packing up and making their way back to school and the warm welcome of the school and their families.
