Sugar Smart and Toothbrushing

Following an assembly with parents by Mrs Taylor on being Sugar Smart with our food choices, Mrs McGregor from the Hillingdon Community Dental Service, did a workshop with parents and children on the importance of toothbrushing. The children did an experiment with a coin in Coca Cola and water and saw how the coin changed colour. The children learnt about how to brush their teeth correctly for two minutes. It was very impressive to see how many children said they brush their teeth daily.
