Swimming Gala

On Friday 5th July, seven children from years 6 proudly represented the school in the 2024 Swimming Gala. They went to Botwell Green Sports and Leisure Centre where they competed against 4 other schools in a range of individual and relay events. Despite facing tough competition, the entire team displayed incredible determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship throughout, with Yusra and Abdul placing third in their individual competition and Sufyan placing second in the 25m boys’ backstroke event. As the first swimming team Minet has had in several years, the entire team really did our school and themselves proud; they should be very delighted with all they achieved! Great job everyone!
