At Minet Junior School, sustainability and environmental awareness are embedded across our curriculum. As part of our participation in the Eco-Schools programme, we actively link learning in different subjects to key environmental themes.

Across each year group, pupils engage with a wide range of topics such as biodiversity, energy, water, waste, and global citizenship through subjects including science, geography, English, DT and PSHE.

These curriculum links demonstrate how environmental education is not taught in isolation but is woven throughout everyday learning, helping pupils develop knowledge, understanding and a sense of responsibility towards the world around them.
