Premier League Primary Stars Tournament

The Minet Junior School football team put in a fantastic performance at their recent Premier League Primary Stars tournament, showing great determination and teamwork throughout. The boys progressed into the group stages and got off to an excellent start, winning their first match 2–0.
Out of six teams competing, Minet finished an impressive third overall and successfully reached the quarter-finals. Although they were unfortunately knocked out after two tough matches, the team showed a huge improvement compared to their last competition.
Most importantly, the boys were absolutely fantastic in the way they played together, supporting one another and maintaining a really positive attitude throughout the tournament. Their teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship were a credit to the school, and they should all be very proud of their performance.
SG: “We scored two goals in the first game. I think this tournament was better than our last one because we played better, we had better chemistry and we won a match. I was really happy that I scored one goal today.”
AM: “This tournament was really good. We made a massive improvement from last time. It was really fun winning the match. On the second match I really thought we could win it, we were so close. But overall it was a really good day."
