In September, 12 children started a project on human rights and law. They were involved in researching the topic, having one to one meetings with their assigned university tutor, who would guide their thinking, and finally write up all their research in a 1000-word essay. The standard was very high as they were expected to reference, use academic language and be resilient in their writing.

After all their hard work, on Tuesday 24^th February, the children attended their graduation at SOAS (School of Oriental and Asian Studies), University of London.

Having a slice of university life, our year 6 children were given a full campus tour of the university, spoke to student ambassadors, explored different university societies and ultimately, celebrated their success! Well done, year 6, you are now alumni of the scholar’s programme 2026!
