Red Nose Day and WaterAid

On Friday 20th March, the children of Minet Junior School took part in Red Nose Day and showed fantastic generosity by coming to school dressed in red and kindly donating money to Comic Relief. We are proud to share that we raised a total of £84.90, which will go towards supporting important causes both in the UK and around the world. A huge thank you to all of our children and their families for their continued support and kindness.

On the same day, we also became Eco Warriors as part of a project led by our Eco Committee. Children took part in a sponsored run, completing laps of the playground over a fifteen-minute period to raise money for WaterAid. The energy and enthusiasm shown were incredible, and it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved for such a meaningful cause. Thanks to the generosity of our children and their sponsors, we were able to donate £153.80 to WaterAid.
