Paralympian Kylie Grimes Visit

We were delighted to welcome Paralympian Kylie Grimes to our school for a truly inspiring day of sport and motivation.
Kylie, who represented Great Britain in wheelchair rugby at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, delivered a fantastic assembly where she shared her journey to becoming an elite athlete. She spoke about the importance of determination, resilience, teamwork and never giving up on your dreams, inspiring all of our pupils to believe in themselves and strive to achieve their goals.
Following the assembly, the children took part in a sponsored fitness circuit, giving everyone the opportunity to challenge themselves while raising money for our school. The pupils showed great enthusiasm, perseverance and encouragement towards one another throughout the event, making it a fun and memorable experience for all.

At the end of the day, Kylie presented prizes to the children who had raised the highest sponsorship amounts, celebrating their fantastic efforts and generosity.
We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for their participation and commitment. They thoroughly enjoyed meeting a Paralympic athlete and taking part in such an exciting day. Thanks to the wonderful support of our families and community, we also raised valuable funds for the school, which will help enhance opportunities and resources for our children.

A huge thank you to Kylie for visiting us and leaving us with such an inspiring message that we can all achieve great things through hard work, determination and a positive attitude.
