Our Exciting New OPAL Play Journey Begins!
On Monday 14th September, we officially launched our new games and activities as part of our ongoing OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) bid to make playtimes more exciting! The playground was filled with fun, laughter, and giggles as children enjoyed a brilliant mix of activities, including dressing up, giant board games, Lego, racing cars, singing, and dancing. Watch this space—there are plenty more fun activities to follow!
In addition to the launch, our School Council has been working in close collaboration with our Rights Respecting Ambassadors to draw up a brand-new Playground Charter. This Charter directly supports UNCRC Article 31, which protects every child's right to play and rest. The representatives have already shared the Charter with their classes, and we look forward to seeing everyone put these values into practice to ensure our playtimes are safe, happy, and inclusive for all!
