The year 6 children have been learning about World War 2 since last term and to enhance their learning, they went to the Battle of Britain Bunker in Uxbridge. They were able to see and touch actual artefacts from the Second World War and took part in a carousel of activities to gain an understanding of what it would have been like to work in the bunker.  Being able to go down to the actual Bunker and be in the very same place that Winston Churchill once stood was a fascinating experience the children will never forget!
