Year 5 Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshop

On Tuesday 21st April, Year 5 students participated in an engaging and insightful workshop focused on mental health and wellbeing.
Throughout the session, the children were encouraged to explore and express their current feelings in a safe, supportive environment, fostering a deeper understanding of their personal emotional landscapes. A key highlight was the creation of individual wellbeing toolkits, where students identified practical strategies and techniques to assist with emotional regulation when facing challenges. Through lively group discussions and collaborative problem-solving, the children explored various methods for dealing with different situational stressors, empowering them with a vast set of skills to manage their emotions effectively and support one another.
