This year, we've been working on lots of things to help improve our school and school community.

October 2025: 

We’re delighted to share that this year’s Harvest Festival at Minet Junior School went exceptionally well. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed—your generosity made a real difference.

Thank you for the amazing donations of pasta, tins, cereals, and other essentials. The response from our school community has been wonderful, and we’re grateful for every contribution.

A portion of the donations has already been taken to Sainsbury’s for their charity collection. The rest will be distributed to local families in need within our area, helping to support those who could benefit from a little extra assistance.

September 2025: 

We raised money for Stand up to Cancer (su2c.org.uk). The staff and children wore their pyjamas to school and donated £1. We raised £212.98 in total. Thank you to all who contributed. 

September 2024:

We raised £650 for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Mrs Francis. We had a non-school uniform day where we wore green and white. We reminded our classes about the non-uniform day and why we were raising money. Our learning mentors had a cake sale for parents in the playground after school and the teachers had a coffee and cake morning in the staff room.
