Year 6 trip to the Battle of Britain Bunker

Across the final two weeks of the term, each year 6 class visited the Battle of Britain Bunker in Uxbridge. While at the bunker, they had a lesson taught to them by a member of staff at the museum, they were able to hold and learn about equipment used in the bunker and they ventured into the World War II bunker used by Winston Churchill himself at the start of the Blitz. The museum is an excellent resource that we're lucky to have so close to us; it's worth an additional visit to take your children again. ​
