Youth Gaming and Harm Prevention

Youth Gaming (YGAM) are offering parents a great free source of information on the potential harm of gaming and gambling, spotting the signs of harm, conversation starters. It is also home to a great gaming glossary and game guide. YGAM Parents Hub.   

YGAM are now offering 1-hour gaming and gambling awareness workshops for parents. These can be booked via our Parents Hub on the link above.

Fully funded Level 2 Qualifications

This year, a number of parents completed a CACHE LEVEL 2 Understanding Children’s & Young People's Mental Health qualification. This gave them a detailed understanding of mental health conditions that affect children and young people, the legislation and guidance surrounding mental health, risk factors that may affect mental well-being and the impact that mental health concerns may have on young people and others.

Learning Curve are delighted to be able to offer this course again to parents and have opened up their online enrolment and induction process for this course and also a number of flexible learning courses.
