ESOL

 

ESOL classes are delivered every Thursday between 9.30am and 11.30am at Minet Junior School. This eight week course is for parents and carers who want to practise their speaking and listening skills to help develop confidence and improve their spoken English.

Each session is two hours long with 100% attendance expected. You will learn new words relating to everyday school situations such as making appointments, reporting your child’s absence, discussing your child’ progress, etc and practise pronouncing (saying) them. You will also learn how to actively participate in face-to- face and telephone conversations. 
Places are on a first come, first served basis and are very popular. Notification of the next course will be in March.
