Brilliant Britain
Tue 22 Feb 2022On Tuesday, year 3 enjoyed dressing up as members of the royal family. We had kings, queens and even knights in shining armour visit our classrooms. The children spent the day learning about the British Monarch, decorating their reading corners and creating a vocabulary wall. We look forward to reading their non-chronological reports about the Queen next week. See the Year 3 page for some pictures.

NSPCC Number Day 2022!
Fri 04 Feb 2022On the 4th February we celebrated the NSPCC’s Number Day. The NSPCC is a charity who promote and look after children that have suffered or are suffering from abuse.
The children were raising money for the NSPCC. This money will be going towards supporting and funding an important service that they run called: Childline.
The children wore non-school uniform, however an item of clothing had to have a number on, in honour of Number Day. In addition to this, the children took part in fun maths activities throughout the day.
I would like to thank all members of our community for making the day a success and look forward to celebrating Number Day again in 2023!
