Year 4 Climate Change Workshop
Wed 08 Feb 2023Throughout the spring term, we have focused on Climate Change and how our decisions can have a major impact on the world. On 8th February, Year 4 had George and Professor Henry from the Big Wheel Theatre Company to perform The Pollution Solution and help us learn more about climate change.
We started the workshop off learning about how greenhouse gases can be trapped within our ozone layer, which is the leading cause to the earth’s temperature rising. In doing so, many living things will be affected within the next few years if we don’t do something about it now. We also learnt that we can do our job by reducing these gases simply by walking, cycling, scootering or taking public transport to school.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.
