• The Queen's Jubilee

  On Thursday 26th May, Minet Junior School and Minet Infant and Nursery School came  together to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.

  Children at the Junior School wore red, white and blue to school to represent the colours of the flag of Great Britain.

  In the afternoon, staff, parents and children from both schools enjoyed a picnic on the school field.

   

  

• Battle of Britain Bunker

  Over the 24th, 25th and 26th of May, children in Year 6 went to the Battle of Britain Bunker in Hillingdon to continue their learning about World War 2.  The children were: given the chance to go around the museum; taught a lesson about the Battle of Britain and had the opportunity to explore the bunker.

   

• National Numeracy Day

  Mon 23 May 2022

  On Wednesday 18^th of May, we celebrated National Numeracy Day. Each class took part in a fun maths activity, which ranged from cutting and separating cupcakes to writing raps about maths. The children really enjoyed taking part in National Numeracy Day and we are looking forward to celebrating this day again next year.
