In the first activity, the children were able to practice military manoeuvres and how to train for a Roman battle. They really enjoyed being Roman soldiers and defending their tribe.
The second activity allowed the children to explore different Roman artefacts and discover what these objects tell us about life during Roman times.
The final activity got the children to discover what skills were needed to survive during Roman times. Children had the opportunity to build fences, learn how to start a fire and practice skills that would help the Romans become self-sufficient.
